The Malibu Makos Surf Club is a group of professionals including ocean lifeguards, watermen and women, surfers and educators who formed in 1991 to provide expert supervision, instruction and training in various ocean and beach activities. We offer a variety of programs for adults and children that provide a safe, fun, and exciting beach experience emphasizing surfing, ocean safety, and respect for the environment.
Whether it is our kid's surf camp or a corporate event, all of our programs are staffed with experienced instructors who are focused on making your time with us safe and enjoyable. Our world renowned surf programs are located at the North end of Zuma beach in Malibu, California. Zuma beach offers great waves for learning the art of surfing and is rated as one of the cleanest beached in Southern California. Our summer camps run from June into September.
